Does it use batteries?
No. It runs from USB (5V / 2A) through the 14.7 ft cable — plug it into a USB car charger or a power bank. Use a 2A charger: a weak USB port makes the panel dim.
How do I control it?
With a free app on your phone (iPhone or Android, over Bluetooth): type text, pick colours and speed, choose an animation or draw your own. The small remote switches designs without the app.
Is installation difficult?
No. The adhesive strip goes on the front of the panel, so you press it onto the inside of the rear window. No tools, no drilling, nothing on the outside of the car. Two strips are in the box, so you can move it once.
Which size should I get?
Standard — 13.7 × 4.0 in (34.8 × 10.2 cm), 1,280 LEDs: a bright strip across the lower rear window, great for scrolling text. Large — 13.0 × 7.9 in (33 × 20 cm), 2,048 LEDs: twice as tall, so Santa, trees and two lines of text show bigger. Both fit a car, SUV or truck rear window and use the same app and cable.
Can I show my own text?
Yes — any words, your own drawings and animations, a clock or a music mode. Birthdays, game days, "Just married": change it as often as you like.
Can I use it while driving?
Rules on lit signs in vehicles differ by state and country, so check yours before using it on the road. Avoid red and blue flashing patterns. Parked, at home or at events it is always fine.
