The cone at the base slips straight over the tip of the tree - no clip, no wire, nothing to tighten. Push it down until it sits flush, then run the cord down the back of the tree the same way you would a light string.
Standard US two-pin plug. The projection lands best on a plain ceiling from about 5-7 ft below it, so a full-size tree in a normal room is exactly right.
10.6 in / 27 cm tall, 9.8 in / 25 cm wide, and the cone base is 3.9 in / 10 cm. That is roughly two hand-widths across - a topper for a full-size tree, not a tabletop one.
Moulded plastic with a coarse gold glitter finish over a three-dimensional double-layered star, hollow between the layers. The LED projector sits behind the inner star and casts through the openings.

Yes. Unplugged it is still a 27 cm glitter star, and it holds the top of the tree perfectly well on its own.
A standard US two-pin plug. Outside the US you will need a simple travel adapter - any cheap one works, it draws almost nothing.
The cone fits most tips, but at 27 cm this is a topper built for a full-size tree. On a 3 ft tabletop tree it will look oversized and may sit heavy.
