Ollie — Ukulele Planter
The cute pot your plant survives in
It is a plant pot with a face, two little legs and its own furniture. It sits on the windowsill looking quietly delighted about something, and it turns the corner of the room you never look at into the corner you look at most.
- A real drainage hole, drilled through the base - so roots never sit in water
- Hand-finished face and limbs, so no two come out exactly alike
- Sized for succulents, cacti and small trailing plants — a 3 in / 7.7 cm opening, which takes a 2.5–3 in nursery pot. Plant not included.
- Its own little furniture is included - nothing extra to buy or assemble
- Real drainage hole in every pot
- Free shipping on orders over $40
- Cracked in transit? One photo and we send another
- If it doesn't make you smile, 30 days to send it back

Ollie 🎸 Pip's older brother. He has been practising the same three chords for months and is extremely pleased with himself about all of them.
He sits with the ukulele across his lap, grinning, while whatever you plant in him grows out the top. The ukulele is moulded as part of the piece — nothing to attach, nothing to lose behind a shelf.

Free shipping on orders over $40, otherwise $3.45. Delivery usually takes 8-14 days, and you get tracking as soon as it moves.
Changed your mind? Send it back within 30 days in its original condition for a refund. If it turns up damaged, one photo is enough - we replace it and you keep the broken one.
Water until it runs out of the hole in the base, then let it drain fully and empty the saucer. Let the top inch of soil dry before watering again - succulents and cacti want less than you think.
Wipe the outside with a damp cloth. Keep it out of hard frost; the finish is happiest indoors on a bright sill.
Cast resin with a hand-painted matte face. This one measures 3.2 in / 8 cm tall · 5 in / 12.7 cm wide with the ukulele, with a 3 in / 7.7 cm opening at the top, and a drainage hole drilled through the base.
That opening takes a 2.5–3 in nursery pot dropped straight in, or you can plant into it directly with a little cactus mix. The plant is not included.
The three things people ask first
Everything else is further down the page.
Yes - drilled right through the base. Most novelty pots are sealed shut, which is why the plant inside them slowly dies. Ours drains.
No, the pot only. Use something you already have - a succulent, a cactus, a small pothos. The opening on this one is 3 in / 7.7 cm across, which takes a standard 2.5–3 in nursery pot. The exact measurements are further down the page.
Usually 8-14 days, free over $40 and $3.45 under that. You get tracking as soon as it moves.
The bit cute pots usually get wrong
Root rot is not dramatic. There is no wilting, no warning - the plant just stops one day, because water sat at the bottom of a sealed pot for three weeks. Every pot we ship is drilled through the base, and you can see the hole in the photo above: it is a real opening, not a dimple in the mould.
-
Drilled, not moulded shut
Water leaves through the base instead of pooling underneath the roots.
-
Roots stay dry between waterings
Which is the entire difference between a plant that lives and one that quietly doesn't.
-
Works with what you own
Drop the nursery pot straight in, or plant into it properly. Both are fine.
Give your plant somewhere nice to sit
Free shipping over $40 - two of them clear it.
See one in a room
Our own clips - the pot, a plant, somebody's windowsill. Sound off, nothing to click.
Six steps, no skill needed
It arrives boxed
Cushioned, with its furniture already attached.
Check the hole
Base down, you'll see it. That's the part that matters.
Move a plant in
Nursery pot straight in, or soil and plant it properly.
Water it once
Until it runs out the bottom, then let it drain and empty the tray.
Put it where you walk past
Kitchen sill, desk, the shelf by the door.
Notice you keep looking at it
This is the actual product. The plant is a side effect.
Small enough to live out in the open
Most decorative things end up in a cupboard because they are too big or too fragile to leave out. This is four inches across and does one job: it makes the surface it's on look looked-after.
-
The kitchen windowsill
Morning light, herbs, and something looking pleased next to the tap.
-
A desk that needs softening
Small enough to sit beside a monitor without being in the way.
-
The shelf by the front door
First thing anyone sees, and the thing they always comment on.

The gift people photograph
It is small, unmistakably a present, and needs no explaining. People open it, laugh, and it is on their windowsill the same afternoon.
-
For the person with too many plants
No more room on the shelf and this is still a yes.
-
For a new home or a first flat
Housewarmings, moving-in weeks, a desk on a first day.
-
For no occasion at all
Under $40 and it lands like you thought about it - because you did.
Small enough to leave out where you actually walk past it.
Hand-finished matte face and limbs, indoor use.
Drilled through the base on every single one.
A 2.5–3 in nursery pot drops straight in - no repotting.
If it doesn't make you smile, we refund you
Not a restocking fee, not a form. Have it on the sill for a month, and if walking past it does nothing for you, tell us and the money goes back. If it arrives cracked, one photo and another is on its way - keep the broken one.

Ask us anythingSucculents, cacti, small pothos, string-of-pearls, baby monstera. Anything sold in a 2.5–3 in nursery pot drops into the 3 in / 7.7 cm opening, or you can plant straight into it. Nothing thirsty - the pot is small and drains fast.
Under cover on a porch is fine in mild weather. Hard frost and constant rain will dull the finish - it's built for indoors.
Yes. The swing, chair and instrument arrive as one piece with the pot. Nothing to assemble.
Damp cloth on the outside, that's all. Don't put it in a dishwasher.
One photo to hello@meltnook.com and a replacement goes out. Nothing to post back.
